Per il secondo anno consecutivo lo storico dell\u2019arte brindisino Teodoro De Giorgio sar\u00e0 ospite dell\u2019antica e prestigiosa Universit\u00e0 tedesca di Regensburg (Ratisbona), dove per lunghi anni ha insegnato il teologo Joseph Ratzinger (papa Benedetto XVI). Dal 3 al 6 luglio prossimi lo stuTeodoro De Giorgio<\/strong> sar\u00e0 ospite dell\u2019antica e prestigiosa Universit\u00e0 tedesca di Regensburg (Ratisbona)<\/b>, dioso relazioner\u00e0 all\u2019importante convegno interdisciplinare, organizzato dalla Fakult\u00e4t f\u00fcr Katholische Theologie dell\u2019universit\u00e0 ratisbonense e dedicato alla genesi dell\u2019anno liturgico bizantino in epoca tardo antica a Costantinopoli.<\/p>\n

L\u2019argomento trattato da Teodoro De Giorgio sar\u00e0 di particolare interesse, per via anche delle connessioni con la storia brindisina: L\u2019encomio di Gregorio di Nissa in onore del soldato martire Teodoro d\u2019Amasea e il suo influsso sulla tradizione liturgico-iconografica costantinopolitana preiconoclasta. Lo studioso tratter\u00e0 in dettaglio l\u2019encomio del Nisseno, reputato \u2013 in ragione dell\u2019autorevolezza e del prestigio di cui godeva ancora in vita il suo autore \u2013 la prima testimonianza storicamente attendibile sulla vita e sulla passione del martire, in grado di influire sulle successive formulazioni agiografiche e sulle redazioni liturgiche delle feste del santo presenti nel calendario bizantino, nonch\u00e9 sulla definizione preiconoclasta dei caratteri iconografici e del principale attributo di Teodoro: il serpente-drago, le cui attestazioni risalgono alla prima met\u00e0 del VI secolo e che solo a partire dall\u2019XI verr\u00e0 assorbito da san Giorgio.<\/p>\n
